The following benefits are available to CAA employees on permanent or fixed-term contracts.
Paid monthly, a few days before the end of each month.
28 days per year, plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase up to an additional five days per year. The basic holiday entitlement increases to 30 days after 8 years’ service and 33 days after 10 years.
We offer a defined contribution (DC) pension arrangement, called the Civil Aviation Authority Personal Pension Plan (CAAPPP). Employee contributions are voluntary, but the CAA pays in twice the level of the annual employee contribution.

Employees can contribute more than the amounts shown but the CAA contribution is capped at 12%. Contributions are subject to the current HMRC capping guidelines.

We operate a give-as-you-earn scheme, which allows people to contribute to their favourite charities from their pre-tax earnings. In addition we offer a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), which is fully paid for by the CAA. This enables employees to seek confidential advice from an external support centre regarding work life, home life and personal issues.
An enhanced level of company-paid employee benefits is offered to individuals who are employed on a personal contract (generally senior managers and key specialists).
Private medical insurance (employee only) provided via PPP, or a cash allowance to enable you to choose your own cover. The ability to top up to family cover is through a monthly payroll deduction.
Private dental insurance (employee only) or a cash allowance to enable you to choose your own cover. The ability to top up to family cover is through a monthly payroll deduction.
Some roles attract a ‘benefit’ car allowance, which can be put towards the cost of a car via our iDrive salary sacrifice scheme.
